Having sold over one million copies in the UK alone, she is a New York Times bestseller as well as a number one bestseller on Amazon and iBooks. A Short insight

She went missing. He moved on. A whole world of secrets remained – until now.

Finn and Layla are young, in love, and on vacation. They’re driving along the highway when Finn decides to stop at a service station to use the restroom. He hops out of the car, locks the doors behind him, and goes inside. When he returns Layla is gone – never to be seen again. That is the story Finn told to the police. But it is not the whole story.

Ten years later Finn is engaged to Layla’s sister, Ellen. Their shared grief over what happened to Layla drew them close and now they intend to remain together. Still, there’s something about Ellen that Finn has never fully understood. His heart wants to believe that she is the one for him…even though a sixth sense tells him not to trust her.

Then, not long before he and Ellen are to be married, Finn gets a phone call. Someone from his past has seen Layla – hiding in plain sight. There are other odd occurrences: Long-lost items from Layla’s past that keep turning up around Finn and Ellen’s house. Emails from strangers who seem to know too much. Secret messages, clues, warnings. If Layla is alive – and on Finn’s trail – what does she want? And how much does she know?

Twelve years later, Finn has built a new life with Ellen, Layla’s sister, when he receives a phone call. Someone has seen Layla. But is it her – or someone pretending to be her? If it is her, what does she want? And what does she know about the night she disappeared?

‘If you love The Girl on the Train read Behind Closed Doors’ magazine. It all started that night in the woods.
Cass Anderson didn’t stop to help the woman in the car, and now she’s dead.
Ever since, silent calls have been plaguing Cass and she’s sure someone is watching her.
Consumed by guilt, she’s also starting to forget things. Whether she took her pills, what her house alarm code is – and if the knife in the kitchen really had blood on it.

I always love a good thriller. This Layla disappears and Finn gets involved with her sister Ellen and builds a new life. I am suspecting Ellen is somehow involved in Layla’s disappearance but I could be wrong.

Psychological suspense, the questions in my mind are mounting. Did Ellen have something to do with Layla disappearing? Is Finn holding something back? Is it really Layla who is stalking Finn 12 years later?

Bring Me Back sounds like excellent reading for a suspenseful thriller – my favorite.

This is the first time I have heard of this author but because of this I will definitely be adding Bring Me Back to my book collection! It sounds like an intriguing plot with lots of twists and turns, I can’t wait to get stuck in! Have you read all 3 books yet? Which one would you recommend I read first?

Ooh, this sounds like just the kind of book I would like.  I just saw, “Girl On the Train” and it sounds like that one – just full of twists and turns that you cannot anticipate.  Or maybe “Gone Girl”, which was pretty wild, too.  Thanks for not giving any spoilers, because it sounds like this is the kind of book where one tiny hint could blow it all wide open.  I’ll definitely check it out.  Thanks.
