Introduction:

‘Racing along at an unprecedented rate, Lies keeps you frantically turning the pages in order to find out what will happen next. With a well written and perfectly pitched prologue, Logan hooks you in from the beginning, building your interest to find out what the story is going to be about…it’s another debut thriller. I thought it was a very straightforward plotline full of threats and mind games. What I was not expecting was is a well-crafted plot with lots of twists and turns that will keep you spinning none stop right to the very end, I think people will read this book in one sitting it is an outstanding and well-written debut book from a top Author of psychological thrillers. I found it hard to put down…it is a consistent domestic thriller; that if you like this genre you will like this sort of Thriller. The tension will build, and you will not believe the end, I certainly did not expect what the exciting final twist was. I think a lot of people will recommend this book!

‘LIES is a humdinger of a read. It made me feel uncomfortable. It also made me angry about what was happening TO Joe)…It is nicely paced, well balanced and a damned

Back Cover

good thriller with a few clever wee twists that will catch you out. “Lies” I highly recommended for fans of domestic thrillers. Ready for an emotional whirlpool? Then you are ready for Lies. But When Joe Lynch sees his wife driving into a hotel carpark while she’s supposed to be at work, he’s intrigued enough to follow her in. He knows he should intervene but when it turns violent, Joe has to make a decision about his actions. Then it all starts to go wrong… Creepy, creepy, creepy, but a winner if you like thrillers.

It’s intense, insane, enthralling, and the chapters literally whiz by, helped massively by the fact that one chapter blends SO seamlessly into the next one that you just can’t help but keep reading until your eyes are incredibly sore because you’ve been staring at your Kindle screen for over 4 hours. It’s INSANE. It was intense and surreal and utterly amazing, even when I put the book down, even for a toilet break, I was thinking about it and that ending just absolutely blew my tiny mind. I didn’t see it coming and it was FANTASTIC. If you want a good cat and mouse thriller mixed with a psychological thriller, then you need to pick this one up! …the ending threw me for a loop. I certainly did NOT see that coming.

Logan does a great job of introducing us to likable characters that are humorous and honest observations and make it engaging and realistic then he cranks up the suspense, tension, complications, revelations, and twists to make a gripping, dramatic and exciting ending. There is a theme going through Lies too. Social media is all around us in today’s world, and this book “Lies” has done a really good job of showing it’s murkier side. It’s believable and you could see how it was used throughout the story.

It is a fast-paced thriller and I would happily recommend it to people who like stories about people who can get caught in situations that they have no control over. It’s another debut book and I am looking forward to reading more books by TM Logan in the future.
