Eight-year-old Billy goes missing one day, while he was out flying his kite with his sister Rose. Two days later, he is found dead. Sixteen years on, Rose still blames herself for the death of her brother Billy. It begins to play on her mind, how could she have failed to protect her little brother? Rose began thinking, she thought she knew the truth about what happened to Billy. She also thought she had known her neighbor. Now she realize’s that she is in danger…
Rose’s past wasn’t a pretty one. She was still haunted by what happened sixteen years ago. When he was eight-years old, her little brother went missing. Then days later he was found dead. Billy was everything to her. And she has never forgiven herself for his death.

However, sixteen years earlier, before Billy had gone missing, Rose met and began seeing a man named Gareth. He had been a lot older than she was. He was handsome, and seemed so sophisticated. He liked the idea that she was sweet, fresh and unsoiled. But when Gareth began telling her what she can or can’t do with her time and which friends she could see, she thought he wanted only the best for her, but because she was so young and naïve, Rose didn’t know what it meant and how this was going to change the course of her life -until it was too late.

My Conclusion

This book is one you invest in. Rose is a character you just want to fix – she will probably remind you of someone you know. This Author knows how to hook you. And how to make you care about the characters, weather or not you love or hate the characters.

The hair on the back of your neck will stand up almost immediately and will stay like that until you have read the entire novel. Belief me the author

knows how to make you uneasy like no one can out there. I think that you will have a hard time reading this one. “The Mistake” is just that darn good.

It is so fast-paced, it is a very easy read. That is why i am recommending this Book with a RATING: 10 -10

I enjoy reading thrillers and this book looks like a great addition to the genre.
I hadn’t heard of this author before and I liked reading about her journey from trying to become a published author to actually becoming one.
Thanks for the review and summary of the author. Is it a long book to read or quite short?

The Mistake has got 318 pages and full of suspense. This is fairly short.

Wow! I really want to read the book, “The Mistake, Thriller with a brilliant twist”. It sounds like something I would enjoy.

In the Story section the first paragraph could be taken out completely. The next two paragraphs basically say the same thing, but I really like the way the other two paragraphs flow. You nailed it there.

In the Conclusion section you have a sentence that breaks in the middle and starts on a different line.

But other than those two little things, I love your website! It’s very appealing and eye catching! It’s really easy to navigate!
    I really enjoyed your site!
